Notices: Term 3, Week 5

Dear Whanau


This week's notices look a little different to normal as we are in Lockdown Level 4 on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th of August.  We hope you have had a happy 3 days in your bubble and have used the opportunity to recharge the batteries and enjoy the warmer weather.

School Website

The Arrowtown School staff are busy putting together links for learning at home these can be accessed from the school website from Monday morning.  All you have to do is click on the link below and then find the Junior School tab on our website.

Bubble Board

We have put together a Bubble Board of activities that your child can work through over the 2 days.  There are a variety of different things they can do and try and most of these activities can be done independently.  Please click on the link below to access this.

Zoom 

We will be holding a class zoom on both Monday and Tuesday at 9-9:30am.  We will be singing a song, reading a book to our Tamariki, completing a piece of art and having some face to face time with our favourite people.  Your child will need some paper and something to draw with.

We ask that you help the Tamariki get onto the zoom and mute the microphone until we say it’s time to talk.  See below for the details you need for your child to attend the zoom.

Please note: This is completely optional as some of our Tamariki will find that it’s not their thing.

All of our Tamariki have a Lexia account.  This can continue to be used at home during this time.
